As I celebrate 58 years around the sun, I feel a tremendous amount of gratitude for my life’s journey. Reflecting on the amazing people that have shaped my journey, Ditra Edwards (Co-founder and Director of SISTA Fire) is one of many. Ditra and I have been Sistah-friends for 30 plus year and through this friendship I have gained the strength to fight, perseverance, and self-advocacy. Fighting for what I believe in. Persevering through the unknow and challenges. Along with activism through organizing.
Which is why I want to ask family and friends to celebrate my special day July 17th, 2024, by supporting the remarkable work of SISTA FIRE (learn more about the organization here) lead by Ditra Edwards. My fundraising goal is $2,000.00! EVERY amount helps.
